Empowering the Extraordinary Dakinis is an exhibit featuring artist Rima Fujita’s recent series of work exploring the theme of female empowerment. Ms. Fujita examines women’s spiritual roles through iconography, tales and figures from the Buddhist tradition and spiritual cultures, as well as drawing upon modern influences. “My works celebrate the timelessness of female beauty and power,” says Ms. Fujita.

“You are a beautiful artist who creates beautiful art.” – H. H.The Dalai Lama

“The art of Rima Fujita opens windows upon a magical world where compassion, humor, and beauty abound and delight.”  – Professor Robert Thurman

“Rima’s paintings are vibrant yet serene. The colors of her art bring joy and her themes, peace and love.” -Francoise Pommaret PhD

“The job of the artist in society is to uplift—to awaken us to a remembrance of our true nature. Rima’s heart is full of joy and her art reflects her heart. Every painting is delightful and reminds us of the highest potential of the human heart.” – Sharon Gannon (Founder of the Jivamukti Yoga)

“I love Rima’s paintings. They have an unique innocence yet contain a powerful and spiritual message at the same time. Rima’s work is full of color, reflecting love, compassion and happiness!”
