Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck: Solving Your Life Puzzle
an online workshop with David Nichtern

Friday, Feb. 26 | 7-9PM EST – public talk | Guest speaker Patty Gift
Saturday, Feb. 27 & Sunday, Feb. 28 | 10 AM-6PM EST

David Nichtern, a four-time Emmy award-winning and two-time Grammy-nominated composer-guitarist-producer who has worked with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Jerry Garcia, Lana Del Rey, Krishna Das, and many others, is also a highly regarded Buddhist teacher who teaches how to integrate our creative process with our spiritual practice and livelihood.

Based on his book, Creativity, Spirituality & Making a Buck (Wisdom Publications, Oct 2019), participants in this weekend workshop will each, and together, explore our individual life puzzle through the lens of personal well-being, creative expression and livelihood.

Incorporating meditation practices drawn from the Buddhist tradition, we will learn to develop clarity, precision, and stability as well as a friendly and inquisitive attitude – as the ground for transformation and personal evolution.

David will offer his lived, learned experience as an entrepreneur, musician, and Buddhist teacher to first help you figure out what “success” means to you, help you define your artistic and entrepreneurial offerings, and develop the skills needed to bring your vision and gifts to the marketplace.

We will discuss the creative process and principles of business and ethics and explore mindfulness exercises to help you integrate inspiration and aspiration, vocation and avocation — to go from surviving to thriving.

Suitable for aspiring creatives, established professionals, and everyone in between, this innovative workshop provides a safe space to learn, grow, and transform.
