How do we live a compassionate, awakened life? Lucid wak- ing begins with a shift out of our small separate sense of self into awake awareness, our nature of mind, called rigpa. Tibetan Buddhism teaches that every being possesses the capacity to recognize awake awareness. With practice, awake awareness may be accessed at any moment, during the day or even during sleep and dreaming.
Dream yoga is intended to enhance creativity, self-exploration and spiritual/psychological growth through powerful techniques of lucid dreaming derived principally from the Tibetan dream yoga tradition. Lucidity within the dream state represents exceptional potential, and is a gateway to mastery of the dream process.
Loch will offer ways of glimpsing awake awareness and effortless mindfulness as doorways to lucid waking and living from our com- passionate heart mind. Dr. Katz will induce lucidity within a dream by combined experiential exercises of deep relaxation training and induction.
