Take a mid-day pause to refresh your mind and re-establish your center in the midst of bustling city life. Meditation is a powerful tool to eliminate stress, to heal the body, mind, and brain, and to enhance your personal well-being and positive relationship with the world. Join Nalanda Institute faculty as they lead Monday to Friday lunchtime meditation sessions at Tibet House.

Attendance at previous sessions is not required. Meditation floor mats & traditional western chairs are provided and no special clothing or equipment is necessary.

About the Presenter

Mary Reilly Nichols

Mary Reilly Nichols, Director of Nalanda Institute’s Yoga, Mind & Spirit, has been teaching yoga, meditation and yoga philosophy for over 3 decades. She offers frequent workshops on topics in Classical Yoga, Advaita Non-Dualism and the Tantric methods of Kashmiri Shaivism. Currently, Ms. Nichols teaches stress management in psychiatric settings and is involved in ongoing research on the mind/body benefits of yoga and meditation.
Mary holds a BA in anthropology from Harvard University, and completed five years of residency in the meditation ashrams of Swami Muktananda both in India and in the US.
