Lunchtime Meditation with Mindy Newman | 1-1:45PM

Take a mid-day pause to refresh your mind and re-establish your center in the midst of bustling city life. Meditation is a powerful tool to eliminate stress, to heal the body, mind, and brain, and to enhance your personal well-being and positive relationship with the world. Join Nalanda Institute faculty as they lead Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime meditation sessions at Tibet House.

About the Presenter

Mindy Newman, M.A., C.Ht.

Mindy Newman, M.A., C.Ht., is a mental health counselor and certified hypnotherapist who specializes in the creative use of hypnosis and meditation in attachment-based psychotherapy with adults.  She has an M.A. in counseling psychology from Lesley University and an M.T.S. in world religion from Harvard University.  Mindy began her study of Tibetan Buddhism with Lama Migmar Tseten in Cambridge, MA, and is delighted to continue on as a member of the Nalanda Institute community.  She is currently a participant in the Nalanda Institute’s Certificate Program in Contemplative Psychotherapy.
