In modern times, most of us live a somewhat sedentary lifestyle motivated by what can be achieved and accomplished. This type of inactivity adversely affects the biomechanics of the body and creates stress affecting both our nervous system and neurological functioning, and impacting our emotional, physical, and mental health.

The Kaiut method seeks to increase freedom of movement by focusing on the joints as opposed to stretching the muscles. Francisco Kaiut’s method is deeply influenced by his professional practice as a chiropractor and his education in craniosacral and polarity therapies, deep tissue massage, and hatha yoga.

In this 4 day workshop, participants will learn about the theoretical basis of Kaiut yoga and understand how this system works from the joints to maintain and return the body to an optimal structure and function, allowing the internal systems to function as efficiently and as long as possible. By focusing on the joints as opposed to stretching the muscles, practitioners can work with the cause behind the symptom.

This method has proved to support consistent long-term healing results as opposed to creating aesthetic shapes. It is designed to work through chronic pain & injuries, general aches & stiffness, and work for the inflexible, hyper flexible and the aging body.

Francisco Kaiut

At a very young age, Francisco was shot in the hip, an accident that caused chronic pain for most of his life. Always looking for pain relief, the creator of the method studied several types of alternative therapies and different types of massage, until at the age of 15, he discovered yoga. At the age of 17, he opened his first yoga school and started a comprehensive study on how to adapt ancient yoga practice to the needs of modern humanity and, shortly after, the Kaiut Yoga method was born. With a small group of students, the method was already very effective in manifesting the vast therapeutic potential of yoga. After years of improving his method and delivering consistent results to his students, Francisco is now president of the Kaiut Yoga group, and the teacher in charge of the didactic direction of 18 schools between Brazil and the USA. Francisco is also responsible for the development and provision of our progressive and continuous educational platform.
