Join meditation teacher Lavina Shamdasani to read and discuss The Places That Scare You, written by Pema Chödrön, one of the most inspiring spiritual teachers of our time.
In her book, she discusses and demonstrates techniques to navigate the many difficulties life throws our way. She unveils the strength that comes from connecting deeply with others, and remaining open, instead of letting circumstances harden us. By knowing ourselves better, and awakening to our basic human goodness, we can truly experience the boundless joys of life. Each 75 minute discussion will include reading assigned chapters together, learning guided meditations and class exercises relevant to the text.
