Please join us for an evening of restorative Yogic practices to increase your own resilience and stress tolerance. Experience practical techniques to move, breathe, and meditate your way through challenging times and to nurture yourself as you engage fully with your own experience and with the world around you. Elizabeth Visceglia is a board certified Psychiatrist, Yoga Therapist, and student of Prakash Shankar Vyas with 20 years of experience teaching mind-body practices to people from all walks of life.

Dr. Elizabeth Visceglia is a licensed physician, specializing in Psychiatry, and a 17-year student of Yoga. She met her teacher, Guruji Prakash Shankar Vyas, a Kriya Yogi, over ten years ago when she was living in Varanasi, India, and she continues to study and practice with him. She recently completed a study of the effects of Yoga practice on people with schizophrenia, which found that Yoga has a profound impact on participants’ symptoms and quality of life. A former middle school teacher, AIDS educator in Kenya, and graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Elizabeth completed her training in Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center. She lives in New York City with her family.
